Chlorinated Water

Chlorine water should not be used for brewing. If used, it can leave a medicinal taste in the finished beer. Additionally, it is best to avoid contact of chlorine water with brewing equipment that is going to come into contact with beer before it has had the chance to dry. Water used for sanitizing should also not have chlorine in it.
